New Clark City – Over 3,000 native tree seedlings were planted across the region as DILG R3 kicked off the simultaneous tree planting activity at the New Clark City Aquatics Center on September 13, taking part in the Department's nationwide initiative.

In collaboration with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO), Department of Agriculture (DA) and Municipality of Arayat, the DILG Pampanga joined the National Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity today, September 13, with the theme "Buhayin ang Pangangalaga sa Kalikasan" in San Juan Baño, Arayat.

In line with the implementation of the Comprehensive Social Benefits Program (CSBP), which aims to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of social assistance to the beneficiaries of the AFP personnel who were Killed-in-Action (KIA) and Wounded-in-Action (WIA), the DILG, as one of the lead implementing agencies for the CSBP, extends its moral support and appreciation for the sacrifices and bravery of PFC Francis D. Lictawa (INF) PA, currently assigned to the 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion, who was wounded in a combat operation against members of a communist terrorist group on September 1, 2022, in Brgy Rio Chico, Gen Tinio, Nueva Ecija.

Being the Chairperson of the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF), the DILG Nueva Ecija, headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., Provincial Director, spearheaded the conduct of the Provincial Validation on the Functionality of the Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) on September 12, 2022 via Zoom Meeting platform.

DILG R3, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Luzon Cluster 2, conducted an Orientation and Training on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) Digital Certificate on September 13, 2022 via Zoom cloud platform. It was attended by the regional and field officers and employees composed of Highly Urbanized City (HUC) Director, designated provincial/HUC IT and records officers, Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO), Section Chiefs, Unit Heads and Office of the Regional Director (ORD) staff.
