In line with the implementation of the Comprehensive Social Benefits Program (CSBP), which aims to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of social assistance to the beneficiaries of the AFP personnel who were Killed-in-Action (KIA) and Wounded-in-Action (WIA), the DILG, as one of the lead implementing agencies for the CSBP, extends its moral support and appreciation for the sacrifices and bravery of PFC Francis D. Lictawa (INF) PA, currently assigned to the 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion, who was wounded in a combat operation against members of a communist terrorist group on September 1, 2022, in Brgy Rio Chico, Gen Tinio, Nueva Ecija.
The DILG Nueva Ecija facilitated the distribution of hygiene kits and groceries amounting to Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) to soldier PFC Francis D. Lictawa (INF) PA, who is currently confined at the Fort Magsaysay Army Station Hospital (FMASH), 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, Philippine Army, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Director, who was represented by LGOO VI Edgardo W. Adriano Jr., Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, DILG-General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, personally handed-over the hygiene kit and groceries to PFC Lictawa together with LGOO V Anna Marie P. Batad, LGOO III Donnabel E. Estipular, and LGOO II Ma. Christina P. Casares.
The provision of the package to PFC Lictawa was also witnessed by the representatives from the 7th Infantry Division, including LTC Eugene F. Garce GSC (INF) PA, Assistant Chief of Staff for CMO, G7, LTC Jerico C. Maaño (MC) PA, Commanding Officer, FMASH, LTC Valentino P. Azarcon (INF) PA, Deputy G1, 2LT Ria Lyn A. Alunday (INF) PA, 84th Infantry Battalion, and representatives from different offices of the 7th Infantry Division.
