CABANATUAN CITY – In celebration of the National Women’s Month and in line with the ongoing efforts under the Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Program (MBCURPP), DILG Nueva Ecija actively participated in a clean-up activity organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) on March 15, 2024.

Through the joint efforts of the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija headed by Governor Aurelio M. Umali, Provincial Offices of DILG, DTI, DOLE, DSWD, and the Local Government Units of Nueva Ecija, the Katuwang sa Diwa at Gawa para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita (KADIWA) ng Pangulo (KNP) was successfully launched on March 4, 2024 at the New Capitol Lobby, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

On January 16, 2024, the DILG R3 and the Local Government Unit of Orani, Bataan celebrated the inauguration of the newly constructed Orani Tourism Park at Brgy. Mulawin, Orani, Bataan. This project, made possible through the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund, showcases the municipality's commitment to progress, community welfare, and the enhancement of its local tourism landscape. The park, envisioned as a haven for both locals and tourists, signifies more than just infrastructure development; it also aims to provide a more accessible, efficient, and welcoming environment for everyone.

The Local Government Unit of Masinloc, Zambales, pushed for the construction of a concrete farm-to-market road project as part of the rural development and the priorities for economic and social growth to prevent the direct and indirect effects of rough roads on the barangay's socio-economic activities. With the implementation of F.Y. 2023 Local Government Support Fund - Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP), the unpaved road of the community was rebuilt with the objectives of facilitating all-weather road access, allowing farmers to transport their farm produce to the market with relative ease and improving citizens' access to essential social services like schools as a result of a notable improvement in road accessibility.

Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos urged newly-elected barangay officials to retain capable barangay personnel especially health workers, nutrition scholars, and tanods, among others, for the continuity of community programs and services.
