The Local Government Unit of Masinloc, Zambales, pushed for the construction of a concrete farm-to-market road project as part of the rural development and the priorities for economic and social growth to prevent the direct and indirect effects of rough roads on the barangay's socio-economic activities. With the implementation of F.Y. 2023 Local Government Support Fund - Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP), the unpaved road of the community was rebuilt with the objectives of facilitating all-weather road access, allowing farmers to transport their farm produce to the market with relative ease and improving citizens' access to essential social services like schools as a result of a notable improvement in road accessibility.

The newly constructed farm-to-market road also serves as a backup route for the riding public in the event of an emergency on the national highway. Additionally, locals from adjacent towns and barangays utilize this road to reach popular tourist spots like the Coto Kidz Pool in Sitio Coto, Masinloc, Zambales. This demonstrates how the recently constructed farm-to-market road benefits the community beyond its intended use.

The local officials and residents of Barangay Taltal extend their sincerest gratitude to the National Government through the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Local Government of Masinloc for working together to provide an improved and quality local road in their community.
