As DILG Bataan continues to strengthen its culture of excellence and prepare its focal persons for the implementation of the Department's programs this year, the annual Program Officers' Workplan and Evaluation Review (P.O.W.E.R.) was conducted at The Mansion Garden, Subic Bay Freeport Zone on January 19-20, 2022.
Established in 2019, P.O.W.E.R. is a yearly assessment and evaluation of DILG programs implemented in Bataan to prepare the team in the working year ahead. Focal persons reported their accomplishments, the success of their programs, challenges they encountered and presented their strategies and initiatives to attain the goals and objectives of their respective PPAs.
P.O.W.E.R. recognizes the importance of focal persons and their significant roles, not only in the effective implementation of DILG PPAs but also their power and ability to innovate on these programs following the Department's mission and vision.
The activity also presented the Cluster Team Approach and the accomplishments of the DILG Bataan's Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC) which aims to further strengthen and develop a more collaborative approach to encourage learning and knowledge-sharing in local governance.
The localization of related documents in the Quality Management System was also held in preparation for the upcoming ISO audit next month.
