WAGI ANG BATAAN! | Congratulations to Brgy. Lote Puerto Rivas (City of Balanga) and Brgy. San Antonio (Bagac) for being adjudged as top performing barangays in their respective categories in the 2021 Barangay Environmental Compliance Audit (BECA) Regional Assessment.
Lote Pto. Rivas is the City Category's Top Performer (1st Place), while San Antonio secured 3rd Place in the Municipal Category.
DILG Central Luzon, in coordination with other national government agencies, assessed the provincial entries across Region 3 on November 18-19 and validated the compliance of these barangays to the provisions of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.
PB Richard Sioson of Lote Pto. Rivas and PB Jenelita Cudia of San Antonio aced the interview of the Regional Assessment Committee and presented their best practices on solid waste management thru the support of the Manila Bay Team of the DILG Bataan Provincial Office.
Lote Pto. Rivas and San Antonio were also guided and supervised by their respective DILG officers, CLGOO Jomar Cruz and MLGOO Catherine Aduna. Both barangays will receive plaques of excellence and cash prizes to be utilized for environmental programs and projects.
