RD Florida M. Dijan leads the recital of the Pledge for Peace before the RPOC TWG members

   The Regional Peace and Order Council 3 Technical Working Group crafted the Integrated Area/Community Public Safety Plan (IA/CPSP) for CY 2013 during the conduct of a Seminar-Workshop on IA/CPSP Formulation, hosted by DILG R-3 on October 18-19, 2012 at Angeles City.   

   The said activity was attended by representatives of different national government and law enforcement agencies namely:  DILG, PNP, BJMP, BFP, PDEA, NAPOLCOM,RTS 3, NICA, PIA and 7th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army .  The said group form part of the RP0C 3 Technical Working Group.

   In her message of thanks to the group, DILG R-3 Director Florida Dijan mentioned the importance of coming up with a plan that would guide the RPOC 3 in its quest for peace and development for Region III.  The Director requested the wholehearted dedication of the participants to their respective tasks.   In response the participants took their oath before her by reciting the Pledge for Peace.

   An assessment of the prevailing situation on criminality, national peace and security and illegal drugs problems was presented by concerned law enforcement agencies before the start of the Five Workshop Sessions wherein the participants were grouped into two.  The assigned area for the first group was the National Peace and Security which deals with terrorism and insurgency while the second group looked into Criminality and Illegal Drug Problems.

   DILG Region III Monitoring and Evaluation Division Chief Lerrie S. Hernandez, together with her staff facilitated the whole process to come up with a draft plan that is set to be presented to the RPOC 3 sub-committees and full council members for adoption and approval before the year ends.
