The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bataan proudly announces the successful completion of 12 projects funded under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), signifying a major step forward in the province’s development.
Spanning various sectors, the 12 SGLGIF-funded projects address some of the most pressing concerns of their respective communities. They include critical undertakings in infrastructure development, disaster preparedness, livelihood generation, and the provision of essential social services.
This achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of the DILG, local government officials and functionaries and the active participation of the people of Bataan. The hands-on involvement of LGUs ensured that the projects were thoughtfully aligned with the unique priorities and aspirations of their communities. Meanwhile, consistent monitoring and evaluation by the DILG Locally Funded Project team guaranteed efficient implementation, proper use of funds, and timely completion of each project.
Bataan stands as a model of effective governance and accountable leadership, where the partnership between the DILG, provincial government and the communities has been pivotal in turning these projects into reality. Local leaders have played a central role in steering these initiatives, from planning to execution, ensuring their relevance and success.
