Getting all things set for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), DILG Bataan held an online orientation for its provincial, city and municipal LGUs on February 10-11, 2022.
The activity served as a guide for the Bataan LGUs on the criteria and indicators of the 10 governance areas, as well as the timeline of this year's assessment. The topics were presented by SGLG focal person Cristy Blanco and Program Manager Allan Don Malonzo.
Meanwhile, LGOO III Danilyn Pena discussed the Peace and Order Council (POC) Audit and the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit which are also both indicators to get the Seal.
Prior to the online orientation, DILG Bataan has started preparing the LGUs for the 2022 SGLG. Cluster Head Melissa Nipal and LGOO VI Blanco provided technical assistance and document review to these LGUs.
SGLG is a national recognition and the DILG's flagship program given to excellent and performing LGUs in the delivery of public service through compliance to pertinent national laws and guidelines.
