The Municipality of Baler, together with the DILG Provincial Office of Aurora, inaugurated the new Pasalubong Center funded under the F.Y. 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Incentive Fund on September 20, 2023.
As one of the awardees of the 2022 SGLG, Baler received PhP 5,000,000.00 to build easily accessible spaces for vendors to sell local products and other handicrafts so that tourists and residents alike can support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the locality.

Provincial Peace and Order and Anti- Drug Abuse Council (PPOC PADAC) and Task Force ELCAC (PTF-ELCAC) was convened by Chairman Christian M. Noveras on September 18, 2023 at SP Hall, Baler, Aurora.
