SILG Sarmiento addressing the participants of the Flood Summit, stressing the importance of strategic planning and coordinated, conjoint designing on the waterways on flood-prone areas

March 18, 2016 - Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Mel Senen Sarmiento on Thursday graced the Flood Summit attended by almost 4,000 participants comprised of purok leaders, barangay officials, health workers and police action team members at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government of Pampanga, under the guidance of Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, conducted an orientation-briefing for the provincial government to communicate the 2016 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) on February 23, 2016 at the Executive House, Provincial Capitol Building, City of San Fernando.
