The Provincial Government of Zambales through the leadership of Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. in coordination with the DILG Zambales has successfully conducted a Mass Oath Taking of Newly-Elected Barangay Officials last November 26, 2013 at Unsang, Barangay Dirita-Baloguen, Iba, Zambales.
This momentous event which was participated in by an approximately 1, 800 Barangay Officials wherein a simple and meaningful program was organized and facilitated by DILG Field Officers headed by PD Armi V. Bactad
Several guests were invited to witness the ceremony including provincial/municipal officials and heads of offices as well as representatives from the different religious sectors, national government agencies, civil society organizations and families of the barangay officials.
Governor Ebdane who officiated the said oath taking. He even addressed the event with a heartfelt message encouraging all barangay officials to work with unity in order to reach one common goal that will result to better barangay governance.
