DILG NUEVA ECIJA CONDUCTS PROVINCIAL TEAM CONFERENCE FOR THE MONTH OF MAY
Earlier today, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Nueva Ecija (DILG Nueva Ecija), headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., CESO V, held its Provincial Team Conference (PTC) for the month of May. The conference were attended by Provincial Office personnel and Cluster I Field Officers via face to face modality, and by Cluster II Field Officers via virtual modality.
One of the highlights of the activity was the discussion of DILG MC No. 2025-016 entitled "Establishment and Operations of Local Governance Transition Teams (LGTT)" by LGOO V Kristian Rob D. Santiago. This aims to align the strategies and team’s efforts to ensure a seamless transition process and facilitate an orderly transfer of responsibilities to the new set of local government officials following the 2025 National and Local Elections.
Following the discussion of recent issuances, the updates and status of submission of reports were also presented under the Capability Development Section by LGOO II Nelcy V. Mendoza and Engineer III Patrick Jerome L. Cipriano, the Monitoring and Evaluation Section by Section Chief LGOO V Kristian Rob D. Santiago, and the Finance and Administrative Section by Provincial HRMO, LGOO V Angelyn B. De Guzman.
The PTC also served as a venue to recognize the exemplary performance of personnel through the Provincial Awardee on Compliance and Excellence under the Field Officer and Provincial Office Personnel Category for the month of April and to commend the collective efforts of all personnel in achieving a remarkable recognition during the second quarter Regional Management Conference.
In closing, PD Tactac encouraged everyone to maintain their strong commitment in assisting the LGUs as new sets of local officials transition to office. He continuously assures everyone of the full support of the Provincial Office in the implementation of the Department’s PPAs.
