November 21, 2023 - The DILG Nueva Ecija joins the launching of the Integrated Business Permit and Licensing System (iBPLS) of the Municipality of Cabiao at the Sen. Freddie Webb Auditorium, Municipal Compound, Cabiao. LGOO VII Dennis A. Daquiz as representative of Provincial Director, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V gave a congratulatory message to acknowledge the commitment of the LGU in providing exceptional services and streamlined business processes in adherence to the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act or RA 11032. Said launching signifies the LGUs commitment in the enhancement of its business transactions, fostering economic growth, and overall improve the quality of service for its constituents. It also highlights the collaborative efforts between government agencies in pursuing government digitalization. The activity was also graced by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ramil B. Rivera, Hon. November 17, 2023 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government Nueva Ecija Provincial Office through the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., spearheaded the conduct of the Constitution of the Provincial SK Federation Board of Election Supervisors for the upcoming 2023 Panlalawigang SK Federation Election, pursuant to RA No. 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Reform Act of 2015, as amended the DILG-COMELEC-NYC JMC No. 2017-01 dated June 23, 2017 and DILG MC No. 2023-168 dated November 7, 2023. The joint meeting was conducted in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Panlalawigang SK Federation Election that will be happened on November 26, 2023 at the Function Hall of Sierra Madre Suites, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija and will be participated by all of the SK Presidents of the cities and municipalities of Nueva Ecija. The said election will be facilitated by the PBES composing of DILG, COMELEC and Provincial Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Panel of Observers from DepEd Nueva Ecija, NEPPO and Outreach Philippines, Inc. Provincial Director Tactac also cited situations or concerns which may occur during the said election and explained to the team the appropriate actions they should take to address the matter. November 13, 2023 - TV48 Nueva Ecija conducted an interview with Atty. Ofelio A Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director of DILG Nueva Ecija, regarding the recently concluded synchronized 2023 Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan Elections (BSKE). Among the highlights of the interview was PD Tactac's view on the appropriate and timely inventory and turnover of barangay and SK properties, financial records, documents and properties and money accountabilities of the outgoing barangay and SK officials (BSKO). PD Tactac also shed light on the guidelines relating to the assumption to office of the BSKOs. In the conclusion of the interview, PD Tactac emphasized the importance for the barangay and SK officials to do what is appropriate and in accordance with the law especially in their respective roles as public servants. #Uhay  #TresTheBest
