The Department continues its commitment to mobilize local government units (LGUs) towards climate change adaptation and mitigation through a capacity development activity on the finalization of their Enhanced Local Climate Change Action Plan (E-LCCAP) conducted last April 19-21, 2023 at the Terrace Hotel in Subic Freeport Zone.

The 2023 Fisheries Compliance Audit (FishCA) was successfully carried out in Central Luzon with all eighteen coastal local government units completing the initial phase of the assessment from March 22 to April 13.

Nagsagawa ang Panlalawigang Tanggapan ng Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal sa Bulacan ng isang oryentasyon para sa mga kasapi ng Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) Provincial Awards Committee noong ika-4 ng Abril 2023. Ito ay pinangungunahan ng nasabing tanggapan at kinabibilangan ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB), Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, Regional Trial Court at Civil Society Organization.
In line with the implementation of the 2023 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) in the Province of Bulacan, the Provincial Awards Committee (PAC), spearheaded by the DILG, conducted an on-site assessment in the following barangays on April 13-14, 2023:
• Brgy. Santa Ana, Bulakan
• Brgy. Tibag, Pulilan
• Brgy. Pinagbarilan, Baliwag
• Brgy. Tungkong Mangga, CSJDM

Noong ika-27 ng Marso, 2023 ay muling binisita ng DILG Bulacan ang Iba-Longos Road na isang proyektong pinondohan ng Kagawaran sa ilalim ng programang Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP). Ang nasabing proyekto na may habang 1 kilometro at may lapad na 6.1 metro ay nauna nang natapos noong Ika-25 ng Enero, 2023 at may kabuuang halaga na 20 milyong piso.
