The Department of the Interior and Local Government oriented Olongapo City's focal persons and representatives on the 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance on May 18.

To establish partnership with the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the province of Zambales, the DILG Zambales headed by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V recently conducted an Orientation on Participatory Governance and Community Leadership to the members of Social Action Center of Zambales (SACZ), a non-government organization working with the Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines- National Secretariat for Social Action (CBCP- NASSA) on May 10, 2018 at the DILG Provincial Office.

Subsequent to the preparations for the 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), the DILG Zambales facilitated a Provincial Orientation for 2018 SGLG on May 15, 2018 held at Zambales Training and Conference Center, Iba, Zambales. The activity aimed to familiarize and update the participants of the indicators for this year's SGLG assessment.

DILG Undersecretary for Local Government Austere Panadero commended the people behind the crafting of One Central Luzon Contingency Plan for the "Big One" Earthquake that could strike anytime in Metro Manila and its nearby provinces. "Maraming salamat sa lahat ng ginagawa ninyo at mabuhay po ang PDRRMOs ng Region III at Region IV-A" said USEC Panadero.
