In support with the battle cry of the current administration, with the vision of uniting the Bulakeños against illegal drugs, the DILG Bulacan on January 12, 2017 held a MASA MASID orientation participated by the MASA MASID Technical Working Group from the 25 Local Government Units in the Province including its Provincial, City and Municipal Government; Interfaith Organizations and Civil Society Organizations within Bulacan also participated.

With the theme "Ligtas Buntis, Ligtas Sanggol Laban sa HIV at Syphilis" the Provincial Government of Bulacan conducted awareness campaign about Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). This was held at the Provincial Capitol Gym this May 2, 2016 which is in accordance to the International AIDS memorial and in unison with the largest grassroots movement to end HIV epidemic. The campaign was led by the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Jocelyn E. Gomez. Invited guest Mr. Celestino Ramirez HIV Master Trainer from Dept. of Health (DOH) gave insights on Discrimination & Stigma Reduction. Among the topic discussed were the causes of the virus; how it can be transmitted to other people; how it weakens your immune system, how it affects the lives of people. Testimonies were shared by HIV victims to show proof that people living with HIV can be mainstreamed to our society and can continue to have normal lives.

Amidst the preoccupied schedule of DILG Secretary Mar A. Roxas brought about by his effort to assist the victims of Tropical Storm Egay in La Union, he still managed to bring smile in the faces of Bulakenyos as he attended the Parent Leaders Meeting of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of Bulacan on July 07, 2015. It was held in Baliwag Gymnasium, Baliwag Bulacan.

In line with the Department's thrust for transparency, accountability and participatory governance, City of Malolos CLGOO Anselmo A. Ortiz Jr. and City of San Jose del Monte OIC-CLGOO Mae Catherine N. Quintana spearheaded the conduct of the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS)Utilization Conference (UC)last August 28, 2015 and September 4, 2015 respectively. CSIS, being implemented by the Department, aims to assess the service delivery performance of Local Government Units (LGUs) based on the perception of the people. The program also seeks to help LGUs on the formulation of plan and actions that can improvelocal public services.

DILG Bulacan PD Darwin David delivers his message during the activity

A 3-day “Seminar on Recent Laws, Rules and Regulations concerning People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) was held on May 11-13, 2015 at the Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel. This was participated in by 38 PLEB members from the LGUs of City of Malolos, City of San Jose del Monte, Balagtas, Bocaue, Bulakan, Calumpit, Guiguinto, Hagonoy, Marilao, Obando, Pandi, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, and San Rafael.
