In support to local farmers and the promotion of national food security, President Bongbong Marcos (PBBM) launched the Kadiwa ni Pangulo program on March 31, 2023, in Limay, Bataan. The program, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, aims to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by establishing Kadiwa stores which will sell fresh produce at prices that are fair both to farmers and consumers.

The launching of the program was attended by an estimate of 50 farmers. President Marcos led the event and emphasized the program's significance in improving the livelihoods of farmers and advancing food security in the country.

In addition to the launch of the program, PBBM also led the distribution of various government assistance to over 1000 identified beneficiaries in the province. The beneficiaries of DSWD's Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) were given food packs and cash assistance of P5,000. Meanwhile, around 200 Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) beneficiaries received cash assistance and 10 negosyo carts.

91 Student beneficiaries of DOLE's Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) also received financial aid amounting to P350,000. Additionally, DTI and TESDA awarded checks and provided electric ovens to their beneficiaries.

Boats, tractors, and other agricultural machineries were also distributed to farmers and fisherfolks. Moreover, PBBM awarded a check amounting to 90 million pesos to the municipality of Hermosa for the construction of a five-kilometer farm-to-market road in Sitio Nazareno-Culis. The municipality of Orani also received a check from the President for the construction of a fish landing port amounting to 180 million pesos.

The program, held in Limay Sports Complex, was attended by cabinet secretaries, top local officials of Bataan, district representatives, and national government agencies. DILG Bataan personnel, led by Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, were also present during the event.

After the distribution of aid, President Marcos proceeded to Mariveles, Bataan, to attend the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Milestone Ceremony. The President's commitment to helping farmers and promoting food security in the country is evident through his efforts in launching the "Kadiwa ni Pangulo" program and providing government assistance to those in need.
