 Local Chief Executives (2019-2021)
 Sanggunian Members (2019-2021)
 Barangay Officials (2018-2020)

In an awarding ceremony held at the Bataan People's Center this morning, the municipalities of Bagac, Mariveles, and Morong, along with the Provincial Government of Bataan (PG Bataan), took center stage as they received the prestigious Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance for the year 2019.

The award serves as a benchmark for other LGUs to follow and strive towards creating a safer and more nurturing environment for the children in their respective communities. By promoting the rights of children and ensuring their well-being, LGUs can help create a society that is more compassionate and caring towards its most vulnerable members.

As part of the activity, DILG Bataan Cluster Team Leader Mildred Sazon gave an overview of the annual Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), which serves as a tool for assessing the performance of LGUs in delivering child-friendly policies, programs, and services. CTL Sazon also assured the LGUs that they will receive the necessary technical assistance and capacity-building initiatives from DILG to further improve their performance in this regard.

Furthermore, the ceremony recognized the exceptional work of PG Bataan in the FY 2022 Local Council for the Protection of Children-Violence against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC) Assessment. This recognition proves that the PLGU has developed and implemented effective measures to prevent and respond to cases of violence against women and children.

The event was graced by Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III, Sangguniang Panlalawigan members, various PG Bataan department heads, with LGOO II Michelle Samson and ADAS VI Joseph Castro, among others.
