The DILG Bataan Provincial Team Conference (PTC) took place on June 17, 2025, at the LGU Conference Room, Municipal Hall of Pilar, Bataan. The conference served as a strategic platform to assess the progress of ongoing programs, projects, and activities, while building stronger collaboration and coordination among teams.
PD Belina T. Herman, CESO V, delivered the opening message, emphasizing unity, performance, and commitment to quality public service. She also took the opportunity to congratulate the Municipality of Pilar for the successful inauguration of its 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) project. Pilar placed 7th at the national level and was the second LGU within the province to complete its project.
Key operational updates and accomplishments were delivered by the Finance and Administrative Section (FAS), Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), Capability Development Section (CDS), and the Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Team, covering updates on operations, compliance, capacity development, and LGU projects.
PD Herman, Cluster Team Leader Cristy Blanco, and CDS Chief Michelle Samson also discussed the upcoming Executive Briefing and the NEO PLUS Refresher Course, which aims to reinforce the knowledge and competencies of local officials, particularly newly elected ones, in local governance, leadership, and effective public service delivery.
The conference concluded with agreements on next steps to ensure the effective implementation of DILG mandates in the province.
