Twenty-Six (26) former supporters of the leftist terrorist group Communist Party of the Philippines New People's Army (NPA), mostly belonging to the Dumagat tribe, voluntarily surrendered to the 91st Infantry “Sinagtala” Battalion (91IB) on April 15, 2020.

Two soldiers were killed, while three others were wounded, after some 20 members of the Komiteng Larangang Gerilya (KLG) rebels attacked government forces assisting in the distribution of the financial assistance to indigents affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) crisis in Barangay Diaat, Maria Aurora, Aurora Province on April 21, 2020.
A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck the Province of Aurora on May 23, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
PHIVOLCS said the earthquake struck at 10:10 am with the epicenter located in San Luis, Aurora.
