The LGPMS Stewardship Awards was conceptualized during the LGPMS Evaluation Conference in December, 2011 to encourage good performance (both institutional and individual) in the field and to recognize their efforts in ensuring the usefulness of LGPMS.  It is aimed to mobilize and encourage the DILG field offices and LGPMS focal persons in the regions, provinces, cities and municipalities in data collection, as well as in communicating and utilizing the LGPMS results and to recognize and incentivize good performance.  It is to be done annually during the annual implementation of the LGPMS.
