March 18, 2016 –The President Benigno Aquino III said that the Cabalens benefitted a lot from the administration’s “Daang Matuwid” in his delivered speech at the “Meeting with the Community” held Thursday at the Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Among His Excellency’s pride of programs he cited were the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the free member data record (MDR) on universal health care insurance coverage on Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and a mass of school, road, bridge and other infrastructural projects amounting to less than 17 Billion pesos, among others.
“Mula kalsada, tulay, paliparan, flood control projects, hanggang serbisyong panlipunan – malawakan ang stratehiya upang bigyang lakas at ilapit sa kaunlaran ang mga Cabalen,” President Aquino proudly shared to more than 10,000 Kapampangans who witnessed the peculiar event.
The President then stressed that the administration never took light of the pressing situation of the province of Pampanga in flooding hazard. He shared that a total of 6 Billion pesos were allocated alone for the rehabilitation and upgrading of dikes and other flood control projects, excluding that of the 32 Million pesos downloaded to local government units through the Bottom-Up Budgeting.
Governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda thanked PNoy, further lauded that the administration was able to implement various projects in the province during his term.
“Asahan po ninyo ang buong suporta ng probinsya ng Pampanga sa inyong mga mithiin at adhikain para sa lalong pagsulong at kaunlaran ng bansa,” Governor Pineda remarked.
