The DILG Region III, through the Manila Bay Clean-up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Program, Program Management Team (MBCRPP-R3) successfully conducted its 2021 LGU Compliance Assessment Exit Conference cum Reorientation on the Manila Bayanihan DCF Online System for the 94 LGUs under the Manila Bay Watershed Area.

 In the efforts to ensure the efficiency of the completed compliance assessments, a discussion of each compliance indicator and revalidation of means of verifications was initiated by the Manila Bay PMT during the said activity. This provided the participants a thorough understanding of the guidelines and scoring system used in the assessment.

Through this activity, the Manila Bayanihan DCF Online System's functionality was also reviewed by the Program Development Officers as part of the LGUs' preparations for the 2022 compliance assessment.

"Through the assistance of the Manila Bay Program Management Team as well as other partner agencies, we hope that all of us will work together as one in pursuit of eyeing success in furthering efforts for the rehabilitation of the Manila Bay" emphasized by the Local Government – Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LG-MED) Chief Ms. Lerrie S. Hernandez.

The two-day orientation concluded with a commitment that those LGUs with low performance should not be worried as assistance and support from the Department and to its partner Mandamus Agencies will be provided. The LGUs were also commended for their participation and compliance to the said orientation and assessment.
