LG-MED Chief Lerrie Hernandez presented the overview of the activity and pointed out the "All-In" principle in the assessment which explains that for an LGU to qualify, it must meet all the minimum criteria in the seven (7) areas. She also mentioned the new approaches and assessment processes for this year's SGLG to broaden and set higher standards to be able to raise the bar of governance and select the laudable LGU.

LGOO V Aldwin Reyes profoundly discussed the SGLG indicators namely Disaster Preparedness, Peace and Order, Tourism, Culture and Arts. Also, LGOO IV Christian Red Mejia presented the other four (4) indicators which encompass Financial Administration, Social Protection, Business-friendliness and Competitiveness and Environmental Management.

This year's SGLG denotes the continuous and progressive governance that must be established in every LGU.
