To continuously enhance competencies, skills, and knowledge of the LGU-hired personnel stationed in the respective DILG Field Offices, DILG Bataan, conducted an activity entitled "Bridging Reports and Innovations for a Greater Harmony Together" (BRIGHT Bataan) at Municipal Executive Hall, Dinalupihan, Bataan on February 21, 2024.
In her message, PD Herman emphasized the significance of equipping LGU-hired DILG staff with practical skills and knowledge to effectively assist the C/MLGOOs in implementing the Department's PPA.
OIC-Program Manager Danilyn Peña reoriented the participants on DILG Bataan’s P.R.O.M.P.T., while LGOO II Mark Angelo Pumares shared tips on news writing.
Moreover, Regine Nicole Morillo, a staff at DILG Dinalupihan, provided a walkthrough on how to use Canva for various tasks within the DILG office for her fellow DILG-LGU staff. Murillo's skills, initially developed through B.R.I.G.H.T. Bataan, significantly contributed to Ms. Blanco's recognition as the field officer in Bataan during the 2023 Gawad Samat.
The activity concluded with a quick game to boost the working relationship of the DILG-LGU staff and the provincial office personnel, as well as gauge their knowledge on DILG PPAs.
CTL Cristy Blanco officially closed the activity at about 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
