CITY OF BALANGA – The province of Bataan joined the entire nation in raising awareness for orderly, honest and peaceful elections this year through a unity walk, interfaith rally and covenant signing held at the Plaza Mayor De Balanga on Monday (March 14, 2022).
The event gathered candidates gunning for various posts in the coming May elections from the city, municipal and province of Bataan, Philippine National Police (PNP), Commission on Elections (COMELEC), religious sectors and other stakeholders.
DILG Bataan Provincial Director Myra Moral-Soriano also participated in the activity. They started with a unity walk from Plaza Mayor de Balanga towards the Cathedral Parish of St. Joseph (Balanga Cathedral) where the peace covenant signing was held.
In her message, PD Soriano lauded and thanked all the political aspirants, concerned agencies and stakeholders for their commitment to ensuring a peaceful and orderly May 9 elections.
