Enhancing LGU Capacity on CCA/DRRM

Under this program, the DILG assists in project implementation along LGUs in the 18 Major River Basins (MRBs) by regularly monitoring compliance of ALL LGUs and ensure a continuing increase of LGUs complying to the legal standards of the following:

• Environmental Compliance
• Land Use
• Climate Change Act (RA 9729)
• Disaster Risk Reduction Management Act (RA 10121)
• DILG MC No. 2010-78 re: Calamity Response Protocols and Associated Actions
