The Province-wide Hands-on Training on the Barangay Information Management System (BIMS), conducted from February 10-14, 2025, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion in the City of Balanga, has equipped barangays with the necessary skills to transition toward digital governance. This marks a significant step in enhancing local data management and service delivery.

The training was made possible through the collaboration of DILG Bataan, DILG Central Luzon, and the Provincial Government of Bataan (PG Bataan), led respectively by Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III, and Governor Hon. Jose Enrique Garcia III. More than 400 participants from 237 barangays completed the training, further strengthening local governance efforts.
