December 18, 2024 – Earlier today, DILG Aurora joined the Kadiwa ng Pangulo activity held at Baler Municipal Grounds. The Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) marks a significant step by the Marcos administration to address the economic challenges posed by global inflation, particularly the rising food prices that affect every household.
The Municipal Agricultural Office, led by Ms. Susana F. Rutaquio, organized the launch event, which featured a wide variety of goods from Baler MSMEs including farmers and fishermen. The Kadiwa stalls offer affordable local products produced at Baler, Aurora.
“Ang Kadiwa ng Pangulo ay isang simbolo ng malasakit, pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa na kung saan nabibigyan ng access ang ating mga kababayan sa mas mura at mas may kalidad na lokal na produkto ng ating bayan” PD Ener Cambronero said during his message.
The launch event was attended by local officials, department heads, and representatives from our partner agencies from DA, BFAR, DTI, OPAG, and DSWD.
DILG Aurora remains committed in supporting the government's objective to ensure food security and provide accessible necessities at affordable prices.
