DILG Aurora joined in the inauguration ceremony of two Patient Transport Vehicles for key barangays in the Municipality of Maria Aurora, on December 17, 2024. Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero congratulates Maria Aurora for being a consistent awardee of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for four (4) consecutive years. He also recognizes the sustained good governance of the Local Government of Maria Aurora and their adherence to the principles of the SGLG through the leadership of Mayor Bitong.
From the DILG Provincial Office LFP Team, Engr. Rosanna C. Hernandez and Engr. Kenny Jean N. Iniwan were among the participants who celebrated the inauguration and official turnover of documents. Local Government officials and functionaries were in attendance to listen to the key stakeholders' messages.
Mayor Ariel S. Bitong remarked that the Patient Transport Vehicles would be beneficial in guaranteeing that in times of emergency, this added transportation will be readily available for individuals in need, particularly in high-risk and difficult-to-access areas. This would aid in ensuring that residents and visitors have a comfortable trip to access critical health treatments as quickly as possible.
