On December 13, 2024, the Provincial Government of Aurora headed by Hon. Gov. Reynante A. Tolentino along with the DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero inaugurated the 60 units of desktop computer sets (with complete accessories), 20 units of a 3-in-1 printer, scanner and copier, 60 units of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and 15 units (Portable Sheetfed Document) scanners procured by the province charged against their Incentive Fund received for passing the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance.
Ms. Armida C. Palispis, Ph.D, En.P, provincial planning and development coordinator of Aurora, welcomed the participants and expressed her gratitude to the provincial assessor and provincial treasurer for spearheading the enhancement of the real property tax billing and management in coordination with all their counterparts in the municipal level.
The province with its component LGUs intends to transcend and utilize the power of technology for better service. The computerization of their Real Property Tax billing and management system, through the provision of equipment will improve the quality of the systems and processes on property valuation by making the appraisal and assessment seamless, and frequent revisions, efficient, transparent, reliable, and adaptable to market developments.
Dir. Ener P. Cambronero, commends the provincial government of Aurora for coming up with a project (Computerization of Real Property Tax Billing and Management) which aligns with the objective of the Seal of Good Local Governance to provide better service for the community. He is grateful and certain that this initiative will increase the province's revenue and bring more projects that will benefit the people of Aurora.
