Baler, Aurora - Following the successful coverage and airing of Usapang DILG: Gabay para sa Pamamahalang Lokal, Ikaw at Ako Maka-Lokal Tayo, the Write Right: Precision in Prose initiated a workshop activity on Radio-TV Segment Production in partnership with, RTV Baler 92.1 on January 13, 2024 at DILG Aurora Provincial Office.
Mr. Rommel G. Espinosa, Station Manager of RTV Baler 92.1, presented the crucial role of segment production in both radio and television production and its execution within larger program.
He said during the workshop activity, “kailangan structured [ang materials na] pinoproduce para maengage ang viewers”. He emphasized that the attention span of viewers are limited that he encouraged the participants to be creative in the segmentation.
As the concept of the program segmentation produced data and program analysis, information gathering and relevant sources, creativity is required in the presentation of factual data and requires interactive participation from the program’s target viewers and listeners. The activity also developed collaboration among writers that aligns with program and segment goals.
“Natutuwa ako na naki-isa ang lahat nung workshop kasi mas naintindihan na po naming ang segmentation ng aming program!”, Engr Rosanna C. Hernandez, LFP Engineer, exclaimed.
Further, ADA I Markwin P. Francia, Finance Unit, shared his appreciation in such program that envelops continuous skills improvement for the DILG Aurora employees to deliver better services to the public, specifically, in information dissemination campaigns and program advocacies to elevate and promote awareness among the public.
The activity produced 9 scripts in preparation for the 2025 Usapang DILG episodes.
