Aurora, Philippines – December 04, 2024 –The DILG Aurora through its pioneered capacity building program: KP DREAMS empowered 848 frontliners of community-based dispute resolution through a series of in-person (face to face) skill enhancement training on Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) which ran from March 19, 2024 to December 03, 2024.
The program substantially improved not merely the knowledge and understanding of the Lupon Members on their legal mandates, but more importantly, it has improved their attitude towards their roles and responsibilities in advancing human rights protection and ensuring peace and order and public safety through a just, speedy, and inexpensive resolution of conflict or administration of justice in their respective barangays.
