As a result of the joint efforts of DILG, PNP, COMELEC, Philippine Army, DepEd, Provincial Prosecutor’s Office and Aurora Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (APCRV), a covenant signing for a Peaceful, Secure and Fair Election 2013 in Aurora province was held on March 12, 2013 at Baler, Aurora.

The Region 3 Federation of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) in collaboration with the DILG Provincial Offices of Tarlac, Bataan and Zambales, organized a Skills Training cum DILG PPA and GAD Orientation held at the Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, SBFZ on December 8-10, 2014.

In 2011, the Department of the Interior and Local Government granted the Municipality of San Manuel, Tarlac with the Performance Challenge Fund. This is due to the municipality’s conferment of the Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH), a program which recognizes LGUs efforts in advancing the principles of accountability and transparency in local governance.
