In her message, PD Myra B. Moral-Soriano, stressed the importance of proper and systematic documentation of records in the overall functionality of Lupons. She also urged them to continually improve their capabilities in resolving disputes in the community and to come up with innovations on how to manage conflicts so as to maintain peace and order in the barangay. She also added that LTIA is one of the programs that help LGUs solidify Seal of Good Local Governance. “Gusto po natin ang ating mga barangay ay maging katuwang natin din sa pagkakaroon ng mahusay, matino, at maasahang pamamahala at serbisyo publiko.”
The discussion of the enhanced guidelines was led by Program Manager Mark Kevin Salonga and LGOO V Candy Veneracion. An open forum was held afterwards to address queries and provide clarifications.
With the series of capdev interventions provided by DILG Pampanga, PD Soriano hopes to produce more national Lupon nominees this year.
The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) recognizes outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa that adequately demonstrate the ability to judiciously and expeditiously resolve cases referred to them and demonstrates exemplary performance and commendable contributions in the promotion of Katarungang Pambarangay (KP).
