The Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council and Anti-Drug Abuse Council chaired by Governor Dennis G. Pineda held its last meeting for the year, today, December 6, 2022, at Kingsborough International Convention Center and passed four resolutions including the confirmation of CSO members to both councils and the approval of the Province’s Local Anti-Drug Plan of Action for 2023-2025.

The joint council also recognized the two policemen of PNP Mabalacat who were killed while in the line of duty, and another PDEA agent who died during an anti-narcotics operation. Subsequently, a resolution was passed approving the amount of Php100,000 to be given to the families of the victims.

Earlier today, the Provincial Government of Pampanga held the launching ceremony of “Gulayan sa Bawat Bakuran”, one of the projects under the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program, in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Lubao, Pampanga.

With the assistance from the Provincial Agriculturist and in close coordination with DILG Pampanga, the Provincial Government of Pampanga through the Office of the Vice Governor is staunchly pushing for backyard vegetable gardening in every household in the province to help cushion the impact of increasing food prices as well as promote healthy living.

As part of the Department’s mandate to support and promote environment-friendly activities in compliance with the Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Program (MBCRPP), the DILG Pampanga spearheaded a clean-up activity on November 29, 2022 in Brgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
