Through the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentives Fund (SGLG-IF), the Municipalities of Apalit and Lubao inaugurated their newly-constructed school buildings on October 23, 2024.
The "Multi-Purpose Building" constructed within the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)-Apalit Campus aims to provide a space for the local youth to gather and learn, contributing to their growth and development. While the "Four-Classroom School Building" at Santa Cruz, Lubao Central Elementary School shall replace a classroom lost to a fire last year.
In his message. Mayor Oscar D. Tetangco Jr., expressed gratitude to the national government for their support and highlighted the vital role this facility will play in nurturing the town's young talents as this is a significant addition to Apalit's educational infrastructure.
Likewise, Mayor Esmeralda Pineda and representatives from the Department of Education emphasized the importance of this project for the local students, highlighting the community's unwavering commitment to education.
