Porac, Pampanga – The Municipality of Porac marked its readiness for the rainy season with the inauguration of essential Declogging and Desilting Equipment on September 4, 2023.
This project, integral to Porac's Drainage Master Plan, aims to safeguard the town from potential flooding, despite its elevated location.
Municipal Mayor Jaime Capil in his speech emphasized the significance of the project. "Itong brand new na sasakyan na ito makakatulong ito para mapabilis ang desilting at declogging sa mga canal", he said.
Participated by municipal officials, local dignitaries, and community members, this ceremony emphasized Porac's commitment to protect its residents from potential heavy rainfall and flooding.
