The Local Government Unit of Llanera, joined by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija, officially unveiled the newly-constructed Alternative Learning System (ALS) Skills Training Center at Barangay Victoria, Llanera, Nueva Ecija, March 06, 2025.
The project came into fruition through the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), an incentive given through the DILG to support the priority projects of LGUs who were conferred with the Seal.
The unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Honorable Mayor Ronnie Roy G. Pascual and also participated in by the DILG Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III, and Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V. The ALS Skills Training Center houses two (2) 48-square-meter classrooms located on the ground floor and a 182-square-meter multipurpose hall on the second floor.
The center will be used as a venue for the enhancement of skills and capacities of youths and other skills learners within the municipality. LGU Llanera also aims to use the building to accommodate various events, such as seminars, meetings, and other special occasions of the municipality.
