Idineklara bilang “Rabies Awareness Month” ang buwan ng Marso sa bisa ng Executive Order No. 84 na nilagdaan noong 1999, bilang pagtalima sa Republic Act No. 9482 o ang Anti-Rabies Act of 2007.
March 12, 2025 - DILG Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director, conducted its weekly Wellness Wednesday in support to the observance of the 2025 Fire Prevention Month with the theme "Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, di ka nag-iisa.”

On March 13, 2025, the DILG Nueva Ecija, spearheaded by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director, joined the 1st Quarter 2025 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

In keeping our commitment and support of the advocacy to promote awareness and ensure a fair, safe, and honest 2025 National and Local Elections, the DILG Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, together with its provincial technical personnel, participated in the Unity Walk spearheaded by the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) and the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Nueva Ecija on March 7, 2025, from Freedom Park to NEPPO Grounds, Brgy. Burgos, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
