In support to the current peace and order campaign in the country, the Provincial Management Coordinating Committee (PMCC) of Pampanga convened on November 19, 2018 to discuss matters that aim to strengthen the current peace and order situation in the province.
Following the recent conduct of the Peace and Order Council (POC) and Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit, DILG PD Myrvi A. Fabia led the meeting which revolved on crafting plans and interventions to assist the LGUs in empowering their respective Councils and in championing peace, order and safety in their respective areas.
Further, the meeting also resulted in the formulation and discussion of programs that are geared to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs, prevent terrorism and violent extremism, and improve the public safety and order in the province and the country as a whole.
Gracing the activity were the heads and representatives from the agencies within the DILG family namely FSupt Myra Feliciano from BFP, J/SInsp Mario Casasos Jr from BJMP, and PCI Romeo Bulanadi from PNP.
Also present in the meeting were Atty. Romina Grave Yadao from PDEA, Col Rowen Tolentino from the 703rd Infantry Brigade (IB), and LTC Arnel Cabugon from the 48th IB.
