Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan led the distribution of 10 newly procured garbage dump trucks to Angeles City barangays as part of his administration’s continuing commitment to assist the barangays in the implementation of their solid waste management program. This is also to ensure barangays’ compliance to Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act and the Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Project.
The dump trucks were acquired through a loan secured from the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
Pamintuan was accompanied by Vice Mayor Bryan Nepomuceno, SP Members and DILG City Director Martin Porres Moral in a simple turn-over ceremony last November 14, 2018 at City Hall Compound.
The first batch barangays which received said trucks were Agapito Del Rosario, Amsic, Claro M. Recto, Lourdes Northwest, Lourdes Sur, Lourdes Sur East, Mining, San Nicolas, Sto. Cristo, and Tabun.
