The Department of Interior and Local Government-Region III conducted an activity to enhance the capacities of DILG Focal Teams and Field Officers in the formulation and assessment of Local Government Units' Comprehensive Development Plans. A total of 16 Local Government Units from the Provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga have participated in the Training on Post Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery Management on December 10-12, 2018 at Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The 3-day training aims to strengthen LGU capacities in terms of planning and execution techniques on the rehabilitation and recovery management of disasters.

A total of 21 Local Government Units commit to specify objectives in their adoption of Philippine Development Plan (PDP) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in bringing forth “Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Pamumuhay” at Kingsborough International Convention Center, December 06. `

Angeles City orients its 33 barangays on Barangay and Pulisya Laban sa Krimen Program

Angeles City and Olongapo City were chosen as the pilot areas for the implementation of the Barangay and Pulisya Laban sa Krimen (BPLK) Program in Region 3. The BPLK is the Department’s program to combat criminality and aims to promote safe, peaceful and orderly communities. It emphasizes partnership between the barangay and the police with the participation of business sectors, non government organizations, civil society organizations, faith based organizations and other volunteer sectors.
