On January 19, 2024, the DILG Bulacan Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted an on-site project inspection under FY 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) entitled "Construction of Balagtas Municipal Park and Recreational Facilities/Plaza Bigaa in Brgy. Borol 1st, Balagtas.

Residents of Balagtas cannot contain their happiness as they expressed their gratitude to the newly developed recreational park in the Municipality, which provides a delightful experience to the residents because of its serene ambiance and becomes a perfect venue for physical activity and socialization. More than a month after completion, these projects not only contribute to the overall well-being and quality of life of its residents but also create an inviting atmosphere for tourists and visitors that significantly boosts the overall local economy of Balagtas.

The SGLGIF is a performance-based incentives award system being given to eligible Local Government Units (LGUs) which passed the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) that can be used for development programs and initiatives to provide high quality service delivery to the public.


January 17, 2024 - the DILG Bulacan Locally Fund Project (LFP) Team took a proactive step towards ensuring the success of FY 2023 Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) projects through site inspection of two significant projects: the "Construction of Two-Storey School Building in Barangay Guinhawa" and the "Construction of Health Station in Barangay San Gabriel."

The Two-Storey School Building in Barangay Guinhawa aims to provide a conducive learning environment for students, fostering educational advancement in the residents of the barangay while the Health Station project seeks to enhance healthcare accessibility and to promote overall well-being of Barangay San Gabriel residents.

The said school building project in Brgy. Guinhawa is expected to cater 4217 beneficiaries and 2012 local residents are about to experience improved access to healthcare in Brgy. San Gabriel.

Lungsod ng Malolos - Itinampok ng DILG Bulacan sa The Roving Radio Station ngayong araw, ika-17 ng Enero, ang panibagong episode ng Gabay Serye patungkol sa mga mahahalagang hakbangin para sa unang isang daang araw ng panunungkulan sa barangay.

Tinalakay ni LGOO VI Ailyn Bondoc, MLGOO ng Guiguinto, ang mga plano, programa, at mga konseho na dapat buuin sa barangay bilang gabay para sa unang isang daang araw ng Punong Barangay kasama ang mga Sangguniang Barangay Members sa kanilang pagganap at pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga nasasakupan nito.

Ang Gabay Serye ay isang inisyatibo ng DILG Bulacan sa ilalim ng Gabay, isa sa mga pasilidad ng ALAGWA Bulacan, ang opisyal na sub-LGRRC ng lalawigan.


In compliance with the Mandatory Bookkeeping Training requirements of Republic Act 11768 or otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015”, earlier today, The Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Youth, Sports, and Development Office (PYSDO), in partnership with the DILG Bulacan, and TESDA Bulacan convened all SK Treasurers in the province for the Induction Training RE Mandatory Bookkeeping at the Hiyas Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos.

Said training was put into action driven by the goal and purpose to capacitate all SK Treasurers in financial record keeping, transparency, reports and other SK financial transactions in compliance with accounting and legal regulatory standards.

Present in the activity are DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V, TESDA Provincial Director Melanie Romero, Atty. Jayric Amil (PYSDO), and Representative of the Governor, Atty. Nikki Coronel.

New year means New Year’s Resolutions for everyone, but for DILG Bulacan, it means new opportunity for growth and improvement as today, January 9, 2024, marks the beginning of new chapter for the team after facilitating the “Goal Setting and Strategic Planning for 2024,” the first activity under “LAkas”, the ALAGWA sub-LGRRC, at Balagtas Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

Taking off from last year’s accomplishments, the DILG Field Officers were updated with the Department’s reportorial compliance and various critical issues and LGU deliverables embarking for the new year. Goals were laid out alongside the presentation of key targets and innovations for implementation of the organization.

DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Fabia challenged the team to translate inevitable challenges into opportunities, wholly aiming to become bigger, better, bolder, and stronger unit. She emphasized the call to sustain the gains from last year and increase the team’s visibility and engagement with our partners and stakeholders in local governance this 2024.
