To strengthen the capacities of barangays and local government units (LGUs) of the province to the national government's campaign against illegal drugs, DILG Bataan lead the conduct of the Strengthening Institutional Capacities of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (SICAP-BADAC) via Zoom on November 15-17, 2021.

In line with the continuous commitment of the Department to assist the local government units in the fight against illegal drugs, a follow-through orientation for barangay tanods was held by DILG Bataan at Brgy. Dona Francisca Court, Balanga City, Bataan on November 12, 2021.

DILG Bataan, headed by Provincial Director Myra Moral-Soriano together with the personnel from the provincial office conducted a river cleanup along a river in Brgy. Gabon, Abucay. The team collected plastic wastes in the water area which is in line with the government's thrust to pool efforts to rehabilitate Manila Bay.
