"Inspired people shine the brightest."
As part of the initiative to continuously enhance the competencies of the LGU-hired personnel stationed in the respective DILG Field Offices, DILG Bataan, through its Local Governance Resource Center and Proactive Bataan Series, conducted the activity entitled "Bridging Reports and Innovations for a Greater Harmony Together" or BRIGHT Bataan yesterday.
In her message, PD Belina Herman thanked the DILG-LGU staff for contributing to the outstanding performance of Bataan in complying with the reportorial requirements and urged them to always strive for excellent public service.
"Gusto naming ipaintindi sa inyo na ang existence natin is not just because gusto nating mag-submit ng report; kundi ultimately is to serve in our own ways our people," PD Herman expressed.
Moreover, the said capacity development activity served as an avenue for the DILG-LGU staff to become more familiar with the programs of the Department as well as learn some quick facts about DILG as facilitated by Program Manager Allan Don Malonzo and CDS Chief Johnny Mandocdoc.
In between the light discussions were fun get-to-know-you games, icebreakers, and a short quiz show to boost the working relationship of the DILG-LGU staff and the provincial office personnel, as well as gauge their knowledge on DILG PPAs.
Through this activity, the DILG-LGU staff are expected to provide strong support to their respective DILG officers in the effective and efficient service delivery of DILG programs and reinforce the reports and compliance of DILG Bataan in the Regional and Central Office.
