The Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) and Provincial Task Force on Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) Meeting of the Province of Bataan was held at The Bunker on December 6, 2022 which was highlighted by the presentation of the PG Bataan's 2023–2025 POPS Plan.
The meeting presided by Gov. Joet Garcia, along with council members, approved the province's drafted POPS Plan and recommended it to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for adoption.
Gov. Garcia also commended the Bataan Police Provincial Office led by PCol Romell Velasco for receiving a Special Unit Award and ranking first in Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) in Central Luzon.
Regarding DILG programs, PD Belina Herman reminded the PADAC Members about the establishment of the Special Drug Education Center (SDEC) as part of the anti-illegal drug measures of the province. PD Herman likewise recognized the LGUs of Dinalupihan, Hermosa and Pilar, which received a perfect score on the 2021 National ADAC Performance Audit and will be awarded on December 13, 2022.
Updates from PNP, Philippine Army, MBDA, PDEA and Bataan DTRC were also presented during the meeting.
The joint meeting, organized by the PPOC Secretariat headed by DILG Bataan, was also attended by Vice Gov. Ma. Cristina Garcia, BM Popoy Del Rosario, Orion Mayor and LMP President Tonypep Raymundo, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton, Mariveles Mayor AJ Concepcion, LnB provincial chapter president Doroteo Austria and PPOC-PADAC members.
