Casiguran, Aurora – On April 23, 2025, Barangay Calantas of Casiguran, Aurora, successfully participated in the Regional Online Validation for the 2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) under the 2nd Class Municipality category. The validation was held via Zoom and was facilitated by the distinguished members of the Regional Awards Commitee (RAC) composed of the DILG, DOJ, RTC, PNP and CSO.

The DILG Aurora Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT), in collaboration with the LGU inspectorate team, conducted a progress inspection of the ongoing project funded through FY 2024 Local Government Support Fund-Support and Assistance Fund to Participatory Budgeting (LGSF-SAFPB) on April 22, 2025. The project, which is supported by a Php 13,333,333.00 national subsidy, consists of well development, pumps Installation and accessories, laying of main distribution pipes, construction of elevated reservoir, construction of pumphouse with solar power system for its operation to address climate change solution which will significantly enhance water accessibility and security for the locals and IPs in the barangay.

On April 10, 2025, the DILG Aurora Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT), in coordination with local functionaries, conducted progress inspections of the Construction of Health Station projects in Barangays of Debucao,Diome and Florida, under the FY 2024 LGSF-SBDP program. These projects aim to improve the delivery of health services to the community.
