Baler, Aurora – DILG Aurora Provincial Office, through PhilHealth and in partnership with Hi-Care Laboratory and Diagnostic Center, initiated a medical services activity on 09 May 2025.
The said activity is conducted in conjunction with the Provincial Team Conference, which allowed employees to integrate themselves in a simultaneous approach of accessing healthcare services from the accredited PhilHealth Konsulta service provider, while promoting a holistic approach to both professional and personal well-being of the employees during their conference.
The integration of various activities during the PTC were observed from the previous months which demonstrated the commitment of the provincial office in providing work-life balance to its personnel.
Accordingly, the conducted medical services have ensured that their employees’ shares in PhilHealth are maximized through such provisions of comprehensive laboratory tests, ECG, free medicines, and free check-ups.
The activity aims to realize that the investment in preventive healthcare can lead to long-term cost savings for both employees and employers, as it may reduce the financial burden associated with treating chronic illness.
The integration of PhilHealth Konsulta helped reduce the disparities in accessing quality healthcare among employees, impacting their engagement and motivation.
